Richmond, Va. – During an in-studio interview, Dr. Peter Aiken, a member of the School of Business Deans Search Committee, talks with VCU InSight about newly appointed School of Business Dean Ed Grier.

The VCU School of Business began its search for a new dean after the retirement of Dr. Michael Sesnowitz on July 1, 2009. Aiken talks about the selection process for prospective deans and how the committee looked at  more than 70 applicants for Dean position. He also speaks about how they finally chose Grier.

Grier was previously president of the Disneyland where he spent 29 years at the $38 billion Fortune 500 Walt Disney company. His appointment as the new School of Business Dean went in effect March 8, 2010.
